The Crest Polartec Fleece Hoodie is a cosy, lightweight layer for life on the roam. The inside fabric is super soft, with easy grip zipper pulls and a classic fit to allow for easy layering under a waterproof or insulated jacket. For warmer days and active movement, wear as a top layer to stay warm when out hiking, bikepacking or as an easy throw-over around the campfire.
The lightweight Polartec® micro fleece fabric performs as a mid or top layer to suit any weather and all-year wear. It’s breathable, super soft, and can easily be stored away if things warm up. These sit in the mid-range of our Polartec® offering, great roadtrip companions for all seasons and escapes.

It’s a nice fleece. The thumb holes are too far up for me so it’s a bit uncomfortable on my thumbs. They’re stitched strangely as well and rub me uncomfortably - perhaps it will soften in time. Lovely colour and great fit.

Recently went to Arctic Norway for a while, I much prefer cold over heat, but I knew that I'd need an additional - very warm - midlayer because it was, and you can probably see from the pics, very cold 😍! This fleece/hoodie was ideal, it's soft, warm, breathable & the hood is a bonus for sure (needed when on a boat in a blizzard!) I love tops with thumholes, and this has those. I had a baselayer, a tee, this fleece & a lightweight insulated jacket for the top layer. With that, I was warm enough! Especially when hiking/moving about (anyone will be cold when standing still in -20°c weather!) The hood is fleece lined & it has some elastic binding at the hem which really helps keep it in place. I was a bit concerned at the size guide which seems to state that clothing comes up quite small, but it was fine & no need to exchange. I usually get a 14-16 top, usually depending on the chest measurements to ensure a comfortable, non stretching fit here. An XL was ideal & had plenty of room at the waist.
Because I dont like the heat this fleece will also be a fantastic top layer here in the UK for active shoulder season days (and most of winter, let's be honest, it rarely gets properly cold here nowadays!)
Would recommend for sure, even better that it was on sale.

Ove the material. Light and warm. The fit is great too.
