Print Stories: Mountains On The Mind

“Inspired by where we want to be at this time of year: In the mountains…”

Hannah, Menswear Designer.

Fleece; our Roamer’s bread and butter, the throw-on-and-go mentality of any good adventure in mid-layer form. It goes anywhere we go. Chasing horizons, hitting the road and huddling by a campfire - all things made more fun in a fleece. A good one, built well with ample toastiness throughout. Maybe an escapism-inspired print for that classic ‘Passenger’ feel? A snowy mountain landscape? We’d say so.

The Mountain Geo Print

Introducing the Mountain Geo print, new to our Autumn / Winter ‘24 range. It’s shaped by the landscapes we roam, with heads in the clouds and mountains on the mind. Recurring patterns, stacked on an easy-wearing polar fleece base and worked into half-zips, button-ups, joggers, dungarees, a cap, headband and blanket. You can go full-kit roamer, or be a little more picky… it’s up to you.

“Geo style prints are always a community fave. As it’s snow season, we wanted to switch things up and put mountains at the forefront of the artwork.”

Hannah, Menswear Designer.

We see it as a roamer’s margin doodle come to life, ripped straight from a well-used and loved pocket journal. Reworked into a multi-coloured / khaki blend, charcoal, and vintage white for those frosty winter vibes. @somewherewilder’s Frida and Leo picked up the Ace Polar Fleece Dungarees and Set Off Polar Fleece back in October for down days aboard Little Firs. Acoustic fingerpicking, good coffee, sunsets and scrabble followed; the natural habitat for a good fleece and beanie combo.

The Mount Scenic Print

A tip of the beanie to the Mount Scenic Print. Right in the vintage feels and snowy peaks, at home on land and lake (the image makes this make sense). As a new one for our Winter ‘24 range, we’ve wrapped up our well-loved Home Sherpa Fleece for women and Offroad Recycled Deep-Pile Sherpa for men in the print. Plus the Waves Sherpa-Lined Changing Robe and Nalgene Water Bottle.

Featuring The Mount Scenic Print:

“The Mount Scenic print is influenced by snow-capped vistas. We love how it turned out, it's like a Passenger take on camo.”

Hannah, Menswear Designer.

The print is a subtle nod to retro travel posters. You know the ones, a blocky mountain scene up front with that lovely bold font reading something like ‘Jackson Hole’ in a deep red with white outline. Scrawly type up top referencing an over-used ski pun - those ones, we love ‘em. Our community also loves the print. It’s going down well with those after something a little more standout to see in the winter months. The Nightfall Polar Fleece Lined Hat is a fun buddie up, or a classic beanie for that ‘another log on the fire’ look.
